Cytec Changes Date of Investor Day

West Paterson, New Jersey, October 16, 2008 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today that it will be changing the date of the Company’s Investor Day meeting from the previously scheduled date of November 5, 2008 to a new date of March 3, 2009.
