Cytec to Implement Price
Increase for Pressure Sensitive Adhesives in North America
Increase in Prices for GELVAŽ GME, GELVAŽ GMS , UCECRYLŽ
and SOLUCRYLŽ Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Products
West Paterson, NJ – July 23, 2008 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:
CYT) has announced a price increase on its entire line of
pressure sensitive adhesives in North America. The increase will
be $0.12 / lb on its solvent acrylic pressure sensitive line and
$0.08 / lb on its emulsion acrylic pressure sensitive line. The
increase will be effective date August 4, 2008 or as contracts
allow. This adjustment is being implemented due to unprecedented
pricing pressures on the global supply chain including raw
materials, logistics, energy and packaging costs.
